My name is Stella and I have recently become a mother of a bonny little lass named Eleanor. In my previous life I was an eternal student, with an English Literature and Film bent. Now I spend my days with my little one, houseworking, opshopping (thrifting), and being as creative as I can in the little pockets of time I have left for myself.
I create a bunch of different things, and I pretty much go where the wind blows my creative fancies. I love to draw and at the moment I'm collaborating with my little sister on some handmade stationary (see below). Handmade envelopes are a favourite in-front-of-the-television hobby. I also love to crochet, sew, embroider and applique. I will pretty much work with any medium I can get my hands on.
I am constantly inspired by my female family members, who are just so creative and awesome! And other inspirational peeps are bloggers like Posie Gets Cozy , Craftykin and Just Something I made - alongside a whole bunch of other awesome bloggers I have come across in recent times. I adore vintage childrens books, a constant source of inspiration - as well as publications like World Sweet World and Country Living ... Ahhhh... Country Living... I wish I was doing some country living right about now...
