Our kitchen looks a little tidier with the addition of a new curtain. I'm glad I finally took the time to sew it, such a little change can make the world of difference. As a bonus, the pots and pans no longer tempt our little crawler like a magnetic force.
I went with a mismatched patchwork strip, but I'm not entirely sure that the colours work. At least our mismatched kitchen items look at home, and I love having that bright pop of colour to keep things cheerful in there.
I still have so much decorating to do 'round here. Slowly, slowly...

Looks great! I like the colours you've used. I need to find somewhere in my house that needs a curtain, I really like this!

I know! I keep staring at it, happily surprised that I can't see all my pots anymore!
DeleteThe colours totally work! Good work, Mama!
ReplyDeleteYay! Glad you think so!
DeleteI think your patches work brilliantly. Your kiddos will be playing hidey behind that lovely curtain in no time I reckon Stella.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kylie! And I'm sure you're right! Heeee, cute thought :-)
DeleteLove it! The colours look great together too! Love the bits of turquoise! x
ReplyDeleteI Love the colour combo (like everyone else too it seems!) I love how a small change can make such a huge difference! Can't wait to see what else you've got planned.
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! You've done a great job! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat they all said. Matchy, matchy is so, like, y'know...last week (you have to read that with *the nasal voice* on) x
