If childrens birthday parties aren't your thing, look away now - because I am about to post a lot of photos... Yesterday afternoon we held a party for our three year old, with a Milly-Molly-Mandy theme. For those who haven't yet met this sweet little book character, pop in to your local library, because these are stories that your little ones will love (if they are anything like me and my five siblings). We stuck to the theme very loosely, but we tried to keep an old-fashioned, 'bookish' feel to the day, with some references to the story whenever we could.
I'll be back sometime in the next few days to cover all the details - favours, printables, inspiration, sources & and some ideas I came up with. x

Gorgeous. Just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteDeep beautiful sigh...

Thank you! The sticks were inspired by an image I saw on Pinterest, so cute! The cake was not made by me I'm afraid, but isn't it amazing?!!
DeleteWow so much prettiness. This party looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteAll the time and planning that has obviously gone into putting this celebration together has been so worth it.
The pic of Eleanor standing in front of the party food table is adorable.
x
:-) Thanks! The weird thing is that I didn't even put as much effort and time into this one, as I did her last... It came together so smoothly x
DeleteSo pretty! Can you do my next birthday party for ME! Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteCuteness! Any party with two cakes is my kinda party! Miss E looks adorable (and rascally in some pictures!) in her strawberry dress! I love the picture of her on her hat.

ReplyDeleteAmazing. I love it all. Cx
ReplyDeleteI love everything! The flowery gift bags, the iced bicci milk bottle tops, the twig toffee apple sticks! Most of all i love that photo of eleanor by the table, her dress, the just developed restraint that means she can have her photo taken and peruse the table, briefly, without diving in!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job mama x
She was utterly absorbed by the table and its contents, and spent a large part of the afternoon gazing at all the goodness. So sweet. I know the way to this kid's heart x
