Stills

  1. At last, a finished project (in the background - more soon).  
  2. Ain't no party like a Chimpunk party!  And yep.  They're called Chimpunks around here, and they're a pretty big deal.

This series has quickly become my favourite weekly blog date.  At first I thought I would join in just until I got back into the swing of things after my little holiday.  Now I find myself looking forward to this all week.  It's definitely prompting me to upskill in the photography area, and take less 'meh' photos if I can help it.  If you are learning the basics of your DSLR (or any camera) as I am, I totally recommend jumping on board with this linky party, a very fun way to challenge yourself to try new tricks.

  1. Great pictures! I found doing a photo a day challenge, with a different prompt for each day, really helped me learn about the camera :-) I've still got a way to go though!

  2. These are lovely! I felt the same way about Em's linky - I just assumed that I'd let it fall by the wayside. I've only had 2 posts where I've resorted to Instagrams - but the rest I'm hoping to use the DSLR. In a couple of weeks I'm moving house, so that will be the real test!!

  5. ooo can't wait to see more of that finished project, the blurred background is just teasing us! Your house in the woods is wonderful, takes me back to my childhood we lived in a cottage my dad built surrounded by woodland, ahhhhhh i am all nostalgic now! Love the shot of your laptop in bed, my husband would have a fit! loving the pillow xxxxxxxsuper cute again, kiddies adorable with a CAPITAL A XXXXX
