The Handmade Series: Heart Felt - Giveaway Closed x

Over the next few months I will be featuring some super amazing makers of handmade goods.  I have some really exciting sellers lined up, and I'm so thrilled to be introducing them to you.  As many of you know, handmade is where it's at.  These clever people pour their heart and souls into the making of their beautiful products, I feel totally privileged to showcase them here.

And who better to start our series than the clever Jannelle of Heart Felt.  Janelle writes a beautiful blog, also entitled Heart Felt, where she shares lovely photos of her adventures as a mama of (nearly) four, and creates the most gorgeous whimsical and woodsy children's items which she sells on Felt.  We've been huge fans of Heart Felt for a long time now (see our cuties rock their Heart Felt floral bonnets here), and were thrilled with this recent package of Heart Felt goodness.

My kids have kinda big heads, and finding nice warm hats (that are also deliciously cute) can be a massive and annoying chore.  I for one am VERY pleased that Eleanor has a cute winter hat ready to go, and I must just say, she does look pretty much extremely adorable in it.  Jannelle makes her hats out of repurposed woolen jerseys which is a) warm and snuggly, and b) very enviro conscious, which we LIKE!  She adorns these sweet creations with adorable hand appliqued designs (she also upcycles cute vintage woolens in much the same way), which means c) cute.  The handmade trifecta :-)

That fox mask?  I know.  I die of happiness just a little bit every time Eleanor puts it on.  Nothing cuter than a kid dressed as an animal.  Oh wait.  There's one thing that might be cuter (okay, okay, as cute as) and that is Garland wearing a Hiawatha Felt Headband.  I try to tell them to stop it with all the cute.  They just won't.  Or can't.

Jannelle has very generously offered to give one of my readers a Heart Felt Fox Mask and a Heart Felt Hiawatha Headband.  I know!  So cool huh!  All you need to do to enter is leave a comment below.  For extra entries, like the Heart Felt facebook page, and/or share this giveaway on Twitter/Facebook/Blog.  Entry is open to New Zealanders and will close on the 27th of April.  Good luck!

And if you just can't wait - the prices in her felt shop are SO great, you could just head over and snaffle one up for yourself.

p.s. If you are a maker of sweet, handmade things, and would like to be part of this series - email me at rutherbrad(at)yahoo(dot)com.  Spaces have pretty near run out, but I might just be able to squeeze you in.

p.p.s. Did you notice that my blog is looking a little more dapper?  All thanks to Talia Christine, who is a bit of a tech whiz!
