Giveaway - Mrs McGinty and the Bizarre Plant tickets!

Wanna take your bubby to see some children's theatre?  I've been offered two tickets to their Auckland performance to give away, yay!  Perfect easter holidays treat!

Mrs McGinty and the Bizarre Plant is based on the New Zealand book of the same name that was published in 1982. The story is based around Mrs McGinty, a neighbourhood recluse, teased by the local children until she grows a bizarre plant in her garden, and the community pull together to tend to it.

Mrs McGinty and the Bizarre Plant will be showing at the Bruce Mason Theatre in Takapuna from 16-18th April.  Performances at 10.30am and 1pm and if you arrive early they have a treasure trail set up to entertain your babies.  The 60min show is aimed at 5-12 year olds so if you wanna take your kiddo on a date to Taka, just hit me with a comment :-)

Prize will be drawn by the 10th of April - open entry for anyone NZ-side.

  1. oh I love this Gavin Bishop picture book. I used to take my kids to see these shows but the 11 year is not interested (far too cool) but I could take my 4 year old nephew!
