Family Date - the Harlem Globetrotters

We couldn't turn down free tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters, and even though we were a little tired at the thought of rushing down to Auckland for the weekend, we knew it would be worth it.

It was totally fun!  Definitely whole-family entertainment (they know how to ham it up!), and it kinda gave me the basketball bug (but to watch, not play, okay?).  I think it might've bitten that one up there too ^^  She was all smiles the whole way through.

When we were little we went to a few big shows and they always made such an impact, best memories.  Eleanor lit up when I handed her the ticket.  She had no idea what we were in for, but a late night out and a ticket to hold were already setting the scene for a perfect childhood memory.  Yuss!

G couldn't hold his enthusiasm for quite as long.  At half time he was done, ready for bed.  So next family date we plan something for earlier in the day.  I'm kinda hooked on this.

This is not a sponsored post.  We were given complimentary tickets in return for hosting a giveaway.  I just wanted to share these pics :-)
