R is for Review
I was sent these lovelies in the mail recently - so good. Usually I review products that I've chosen, and therefore know that I love, before I've even written the review. It was nice this time to be introduced to a new product that I would definitely purchase again. I love me some organic baby products, and I thought these were great. The Soothing Cream smells yummy as, definitely my favourite product of the three. And I also love having handy, pocket-sized tubes that I can slip into my handbag (or travel bag).
You can purchase Little Innoscents online, with free shipping and totally affordable prices. And they're Certified Organic. Win.
Also, one of my sponsors, Croutons, is having an epic facebook sale at the moment. SO much lovely stuff, I couldn't resist buying up some of my very favourite Croutons things. Now I just have to resist going back and buying even more...

P is for Press
Awhile back, I submitted some photos of a nautical party I created to OHBaby! magazine. I was super delighted when they decided to run them in their summer issue. Woowoooop! My clever big sister wrote the article, and the party itself was a collaborative project I worked on with Alice of Babycakes. I used to dream of working for a magazine, but that is not my dream any longer. The magazine biz, it seems a stressful place. Anyway, if you haven't flicked through a copy of this mag in your local dairy, here's a wee peek at our article. Also if you have the current issue of Extra Curricular magazine, you will see that both my sisters have worked together on a great piece, about a soap-making lady in Sydney.
This party was fun to put together (we held it at the end of last summer), and I have a heap more photos of it which I will share with you soon x

H is for Heart
Letting this guy say it for me today:
BY E. E. CUMMINGS
[i carry your heart with me(i carry it in]
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

Christmas Advent Ideas: Day 10 - Festive Drinks
So easy, but I imagine it would be quite fun for kiddos of the right age to design their own festive drinks. I'm a big fan of freezing things like edible flowers & berries in ice-cube trays (in fact, I have some of both in our freezer right now!). Perhaps your kiddo would enjoy hand choosing what they freeze? I tried some hard jube sweets and the worked out perfectly, though they sank to the bottom of the ice. For this particular drink, I was aiming for a mint green colour, so I bought a bottle of cheap lemonade (not clear lemonade fyi, the cloudy kind) and mixed in a few drops of green food colouring. SO SIMPLE! With a tiny touch of festive red...
Oh, and F is for Festive. Cheating again...

Christmas Advent Ideas: Day 9 - Elf Christmas Stockings

Erm, E is for Elf Stockings... (that's pretty much cheating, but oh well...)
Tutorial-by-photos:
This year I made two new stockings. One for Garland (not quite finished yet), and a teeny little one for Atticus Elf. It was easy to make, and super quick, and as soon as I work out how/where to hang our stockings, this little wee one will go up too.

B is for Baking
So, before I get going with this post - I just wanted to let you know (in case those one or two of you expecting certain posts were wondering), I've decided to show all my advent gifts (read more here) and elf shenanigans in one post at the end of each week. It was just getting a little too busy round here, especially since I signed up for this fun creative challenge, via Pip Lincolne and JustB...
Today's letter is B, and having recently spent an afternoon baking and decorating cookies, it was super obvious what I'd be posting about.
Alice had some pre-made dough in her fridge, so on a recent playdate we were able to get straight into some rolling out and cookie cutting. We are actually having a sugar-free month in our household, but none of us could resist trying these gingerbread cookies once they were cooked and decorated. So good!
The kids weren't the only ones decorating cookies, I made some too. Show you soon x
